We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Glass Cullet Production Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily cullet production operations. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, efficient and environmentally responsible production while meeting quality standards and operational targets.
This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise and a continuous improvement mindset to guide a team and optimize performance within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of glass cullet production.
- Manage inventory of raw materials and finished cullet both physically and on Odoo.
- Ensure glass cullet meets required specifications and quality standards.
- Lead, train and supervise the cullet production staff to achieve performance goals.
- Enforce strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations as well as company policies.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs of production machinery and equipment to minimize breakdowns and enhance operational performance.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization to improve productivity, efficiency and cost- effectiveness.
Must Have
- Must have a Diploma in a related field.
- Minimum of at least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Highly creative and autonomous
- Team player and a fast learner
Nice to have
- Experience in writing production reports.
- Strong analytical skills
